Clerical Assistant at the Plessur Regional Court

The Plessur Regional Court is a civil and criminal court of first instance based in Chur. It includes the cantonal office of the judge for coercive measures as well as the justice of the peace with conciliation authority in rental matters for the Plessur region. The caseload is approximately 2200 cases per year (including cases of the judge for coercive measures), which are administratively managed by the court registry consisting of ten people.
Following a retirement, for 1 January 2027 or by agreement, we are looking for a clerical assistant for the Plessur Regional Court.
- Administrative management of cases, from opening the file to billing and archiving (handling correspondence, monitoring deadlines and costs, general communication with parties, lawyers and authorities, etc.)
- Organisation and post-processing of negotiations, hearings and interrogations
- Independent drafting of various correspondence, orders and procedural decisions
- Telephone and counter service
- Completed basic commercial training (professional development in the paralegal field is an advantage)
- Ideally, several years of professional experience at a court, law firm or public administration
- Excellent knowledge of German, knowledge of Italian is an advantage
- Structured, forward-looking, independent and precise working method
- A team player who is reliable and open
- Willingness to perform on-call duties
