Job Description

• Restoration and refurbishment of historical windows
• Working with solid wood parts, precisely and traditionally
• Learning and applying techniques that are rarely taught today
• Adjusting windows on site and replacing them with temporary solutions
• Glazing and repair work on sashes and frames (always solid wood)
• Realigning and fitting weather bars, stop beads & parts on the moulding machine
• Glazing windows with traditional linseed oil putty
• Handing over to internal painting for final coating
• Dismantling on site, hanging the windows and final assembly of all fittings

We Expect

• Completed carpentry apprenticeship or professional experience in the wood sector is an advantage but not essential
• Manual dexterity, willingness to learn and joy in working with wood
• Reliability and team spirit
