• implement and monitor regulatory requirements within the bank  
• handle legal issues as well as compliance-relevant escalations  
• analyse and assess cases from transaction monitoring and business relationships with increased risks (TmeR & GmeR) and report to authorities  
• support the operational implementation of compliance topics and assist front-line staff  
• handle enquiries from authorities, public prosecutors and the banking ombudsman  
• contribute to the implementation of economic sanctions  
• conduct internal specialist training, lead smaller projects and represent the compliance department in projects  
• continuously optimise processes and workflows  
• represent Valiant in external specialist committees 

• a university of applied sciences or university degree in law, compliance, finance, business administration or a related field  
• several years of experience in the compliance field, ideally in the area of money laundering  
• an independent, precise and structured way of working  
• analytical skills, quick comprehension and didactic ability  
• assertiveness as well as target-group appropriate communication skills  
• professionalism and solution orientation even in demanding situations  
• German or French as a mother tongue with good knowledge of the other language
