In the course of the group’s further dynamic development, we are looking for a Manager Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).
The role is an integral part of Group M&A and significantly contributes to the management and implementation of strategically relevant transactions. You will operate at the interface between divisions, Group Management and external partners and take an active role in structuring, managing and negotiating transactions.
What you will achieve
- Supporting Group Management on strategically relevant M&A topics with direct impact on the group’s further development
- Close collaboration with the Buildings, Civil Engineering and Service Solutions divisions
- Managing and structuring M&A processes (buy- and sell-side) throughout the entire transaction cycle
- Participating in transactions end-to-end – from target screening and initial assessment through due diligence to signing, closing and integration
- Leading central process and negotiation strands in close coordination with the Head of M&A and Group Management
- Preparing well-founded decision-making bases for top management and committees (business case, valuation, risks, structuring options)
- Analysing target companies, markets and business models and deriving clear investment logics
- Conducting and managing financial analyses and valuations (including modelling and scenarios)
- Structuring and coordinating due diligence processes in close coordination with the divisions
- Managing external advisors (financial, legal, tax) and actively shaping interaction with other transaction partners
Why you will succeed
- Several years of relevant experience in M&A, transaction advisory, corporate finance or a comparable transaction-related function
- Proven experience in the structured implementation of transactions
- Sound knowledge of company valuation and financial modelling
- Excellent understanding of transaction structures as well as economic and risk-related drivers
- Ability to quickly grasp, structure and translate different interests into viable solutions
- Confident demeanour and clear communication with senior stakeholders
- High sense of responsibility for progress, quality and decision readiness
