These are your tasks
- Take the central role in supporting the large-scale project managers "District Heating Expansion" regarding costs, schedules, and risk assessments
- Review and monitor finances, risks, and procurements, prepare reports, and thus contribute to successful project completions
- Independently handle sub-tasks and initiatives within the projects, such as optimising return temperatures, densification areas, or strategic planning
- Promote knowledge exchange within and between projects through experience sharing, knowledge platforms, and other suitable formats
- Introduce innovative approaches and intelligent analyses to improve processes efficiently and further develop project management
- Engage in the challenging field of public interests as well as in interdisciplinary and cross-departmental teams and develop solutions
This is what sets you apart
- University degree (HF/FH/ETH) in engineering or natural sciences (civil, electrical, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, energy, etc.) with initial experience in projects or a comparable discipline
- Enjoyment of cooperative collaboration, ideally with experience in interdisciplinary project teams
- Strong communication skills and ability to bring together different interests
- Enjoyment in co-developing new solutions to realise sustainable and efficient energy solutions in urban areas
- Quick comprehension and great willingness to learn new topics
- Very good knowledge in using common IT systems and good understanding of data and analyses (MS Office, SAP, etc.)
- Knowledge of project management methods and processes in investment projects
- Very good German language skills
