Department of Economy, Social Affairs and Environment, LIV Life in Diversity
immediate start or by arrangement
Your Tasks
Supporting people: You accompany five people with intellectual disabilities and highly challenging behaviour - often combined with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) - and actively help shape a participation-oriented and health-promoting environment.
Shaping everyday life: You care for the clients, sometimes in a 1:1 setting, within structured and stabilising systems. You ensure person-centred day and leisure activities and take on tasks in the household, organisation, and documentation.
Developing perspectives: Within the interdisciplinary team, you commit to a professional working approach and a good working atmosphere. Together with colleagues, you review professional approaches, collaboration, and organisation and contribute to change processes.
Your Profile
Experience: You have already supported people with intellectual disabilities and challenging behaviour, ideally in the area of ASD. You balance shift, weekend, and holiday duties well with your private life.
Personality: In demanding care situations, you act calmly and convey security. You seek help when you reach your limits and contribute openly in team meetings and professional consultations. Humour, empathy, and respect are important to you.
Education: You have completed training as a Care Specialist EFZ or an equivalent qualification, possibly with a specialisation in psychiatry.
Language: You have a good command of the German language and communicate appropriately for the target group.
