Employee: Open Youth Work/Girls' Work

Töss is a church community in the south of Winterthur with around 1860 members. In addition to our church youth work, we run an open, denominationally and politically neutral youth work (OJA) on behalf of the city of Winterthur. We are a member of the umbrella organisation ju win.

We are looking for a

Your tasks

• You support the youth work leader in a team with other employees in running the open youth centre and caring for the young people (Wednesday afternoon,
  Friday afternoon/evening)
• You offer the young people support, low-threshold advice and, if necessary, mediate suitable assistance
• You are primarily responsible for the girls' meeting offer (Friday afternoon) /
  the girls' work of the open youth centre
• You participate to a suitable extent in city-wide projects of «ju win»

Your profile

• a completed, recognised qualification (FH) in the educational, social work,
  sociocultural or social diaconal field, preferably with professional experience in working with children and young people
• Enjoyment in working with children and young people of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds and respect for their background
• Initiative and independent personality with own ideas
• Positive attitude towards the institution Reformed State Church
• Interest in networking and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Flexibility and willingness to work weekends or evenings
• Ability to work independently and administrative efficiency
• Good PC skills
