What is my role?

• Responsibility for the procurement of technical components, parts and materials

• Conducting supplier negotiations and ensuring optimal conditions

• Maintaining and further developing existing supplier relationships as well as establishing new contacts

• Obtaining and comparing offers and making well-founded purchasing decisions

• Close cooperation with the departments of development, production and quality assurance

• Monitoring delivery dates and ensuring timely material supply

• Optimising purchasing processes and cost reduction

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed technical training or a degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable

• Professional experience in technical purchasing

• Good technical understanding and the ability to read technical drawings

• Negotiation skills and assertiveness

• Structured, independent working style and good organisational talent

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team

• Confident handling of MS Office and ERP systems
