The Paul Scherrer Institute PSI is the largest research institute for natural and engineering sciences in Switzerland. As part of a larger research project - supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) - we are looking for a research-oriented, highly motivated, and flexible individual starting November 1, 2025, or by agreement:
Your Tasks
- Production and chemical separation of radionuclides
- Participation in the automation and engineering implementation of (radio)chemical processes
- Establishment and further development of infrastructure for radionuclide production
- Maintenance and support of equipment and laboratory infrastructure
- Organization and management of the radiochemical laboratory
- Support for preclinical and planned clinical studies
Your Profile
- Completed training as a chemical laboratory technician EFZ or a university degree in chemistry or a related field
- Professional experience in a chemical or radiochemical laboratory
- Interest in research and development as well as enthusiasm for scientific questions
- Willingness to actively and responsibly participate in laboratory operations
- Flexibility, versatility, and high motivation to work on competitive research projects
- Willingness to work in an environment with ionizing radiation
- Radiation protection training level B or C (e.g., K420, K440, K875) is an advantage
- Good German and English skills (spoken and written)
- Proficient use of standard software and laboratory IT systems
