About the job

We are a successful and innovative family business with around 120 employees. As a technical wholesaler based in Aarau, we operate in the fields of hose technology, hydraulics and drive technology.

For our purchasing department, we are looking for a motivated personality as 

Operational Buyer 80 - 100% (all)

Your main tasks

• Execution of the entire order processing
• Daily communication with suppliers (delivery dates, backlogs, clarifications)
• Calculation of safety stocks and optimal order quantities
• Planning and notification of goods delivery together with logistics
• Checking supplier and freight invoices
• Co-responsibility for the support and training of apprentices
• Active participation in the design and implementation of process improvements in purchasing and the supply chain
   

Your profile

• Completed commercial basic training or equivalent education and training
• Professional experience in a comparable position, preferably in an SME environment
• Good German and English skills mandatory, Italian an advantage
• Good MS Office and ERP user skills
• Structured, organized and precise way of working
• Team-oriented and responsible personality
