Would you like to take on a responsible position in the service of the population and environmental protection? Our wastewater treatment plant cleans the wastewater from Frauenfeld and numerous surrounding municipalities and supplies energy for district heating.
The Wastewater Association Region Frauenfeld (AVRF) ensures that the polluted wastewater from the eight member municipalities Felben-Wellhausen, Frauenfeld, Gachnang, Herdern, Hüttlingen, Hüttwilen, Uesslingen-Buch, and Warth-Weiningen is directed to the central wastewater treatment plant and treated there using the latest methods. In total, about 36,000 residents are connected to the wastewater treatment plant.
These are your tasks:
- Support our plant electrician and take over the function upon their retirement
- Cleaning, maintenance, and repair work at the wastewater treatment plant and external facilities
- Work related to sludge processing/dewatering
- Operating the process control system and measurement technology
- Conducting analyses in the wastewater treatment plant laboratory
What you bring with you:
- Training as an electrician or a technical-craft professional qualification
- Further training as a wastewater treatment specialist or willingness to undergo training
- A flair for handling electrical controls
- For electricians: further training as a plant electrician or willingness to undergo training
- Willingness to perform on-call duty alternately with team members, including weekends and holidays
- Interest in the wastewater field and enjoyment of working in a small team
- Reliability, flexibility, and resilience
- Driver's license category B (car)
- Residence from which the wastewater treatment plant in Frauenfeld can be reached in about fifteen minutes
