Head of Digitalisation & Business Service 80 - 100%The Security Directorate employs around 5,000 staff members. The Security Directorate includes the Cantonal Police of Zurich, the Road Traffic Office, the Migration Office, the Office for Military and Civil Protection, the Cantonal Social Office as well as the Sports Office and the Appeals Department. The General Secretariat is the central staff unit of the Security Directorate.
As Head of Digitalisation & Business Service in the General Secretariat, you will play a key role in shaping the digital transformation within our directorate. Together with our offices and your team, you will further develop digitalisation, coordinate its implementation, and ensure that digital solutions create sustainable added value for the administration and the public.
Your tasks
- You will further develop the directorate's digitalisation and ICT strategy in collaboration with the offices and advise them on strategic and operational issues.
- You will manage project and portfolio management and coordinate the successful implementation of digitalisation and ICT projects.
- You will lead the areas of Business Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Process, Project Portfolio and Service Management, and ensure the sustainable operation of specialist applications.
- You will represent the directorate in cantonal committees and prepare well-founded decision-making bases, statements, and proposals.
Your profile
- University or university of applied sciences degree in business informatics, computer science, business administration, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in a comparable role with responsibility for digitalisation as well as project and portfolio management
- Strong understanding of business processes and digital technologies and the ability to develop sustainable and practical solutions from them
- Strategically minded, decisive, and communicative leadership personality with strong advisory skills and the ability to connect different stakeholders and effectively drive change
