Production Manager (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you will take charge of production for modern measurement systems in the water and thermal energy sector. You are responsible for the efficient planning, control and optimisation of production processes and ensure that quality, deadlines and costs are met. You rely on innovative technologies, especially intelligent measuring devices and IoT solutions, to ensure a powerful and future-oriented manufacturing process. You coordinate collaboration with adjacent departments and ensure smooth workflows along the entire value chain. Furthermore, you drive continuous improvements and promote a professional, goal-oriented working style in the production environment.
Responsibilities:
- You lead a production team of 8 people and promote their development.
- In this role, you plan and monitor timely and efficient production output.
- You organise workflows so that standards, specifications, deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
- As Production Manager, you take on the qualitative and quantitative monitoring of the entire production.
- You calibrate and adjust measuring devices to ensure reliable measurement results.
- In this role, you train your team on health and safety precautions and enforce them consistently.
Qualifications:
- Completed technical vocational training (e.g. as a polymechanic) with further training in team leadership or comparable leadership training
- Extensive know-how in the water flow or energy measurement sector as well as in automation and integration of new production technologies
- Several years of experience in a leadership role in production
- Experience in applying lean methods and good knowledge of quality management methods
- Analytical, structured working style and strong willingness to learn
- Very good German skills as well as ideally French and English skills
