About the job
You want to be employed long-term but also contribute entrepreneurially - without having to bear a high financial risk? At the same time, you are looking for a working model that offers you real freedom? Here you can combine both:
You work in an established and modern general practice in the Toggenburg region - embedded in an impressive natural landscape and at the same time with excellent infrastructure. The region offers exactly what many consciously seek: peace, nature and quality of life - without compromises in everyday life.
The medical team currently consists of three general practitioners, supported by an exceptionally stable MPA-team. Several employees have been working in the practice for over 15 years - a clear sign of continuity, trust and a functioning working environment.
Medically, the practice covers a broad general medical spectrum and is excellently equipped technically with ultrasound, digital X-ray, laboratory and ECG. A special advantage:
The ultrasound training can be completed entirely in the practice, as an experienced colleague is available on site as a tutor.
Short distances, direct decision-making structures and a pragmatic everyday life without unnecessary bureaucracy characterise the working style.
A partnership is expressly possible and offers you - in addition to co-design and influence - also a tax-attractive income structure through dividends, which is advantageous compared to pure fixed salary.
At the same time, the working day is organised so that a 100 % workload is spread over four consultation days. The fifth day is reserved for administration - according to experience with significantly less effort than a full working day. For you, this means: more planning, more freedom and a work-life-balance that is sustainable in the long term.
Your tasks:
- Long-term care of your own patient base
- Treatment of acute and chronic diseases across the entire spectrum of general practice
- Carrying out preventive examinations and continuous patient support
- Use of modern diagnostics directly on site
- Active participation in practice development
- Gradual assumption of responsibility - also towards entrepreneurial involvement
Your skills:
- Specialist title in General Internal Medicine, General Practitioner or equivalent qualification
- German language skills at C1 level
- Enjoyment of long-term general practice work
- Interest in co-design and entrepreneurial issues
- Structured and team-oriented working style
- For candidates from abroad: support with MEBEKO recognition (advisory and financial)
Your benefits:
- Attractive fixed salary
- Additional tax advantages through dividend distributions with partnership
- Entry as a partner possible from CHF 34,000
- Alternatively, employment without partnership
- Four-day week at 100 % workload
- 7 weeks holiday
- 1 week paid further training
- Very manageable cantonal service load (approx. 7-8 weekend days per year)
- Clear and plannable working hours
- Modern infrastructure with a broad diagnostic spectrum
- Long-standing, stable team with high reliability
- Work and live in a region with direct access to mountains, nature, leisure opportunities and good infrastructure
- Schools, daycare and leisure facilities directly on site
- Quick access to mountains, hiking trails and winter sports areas
- High quality of life for families with and without children as well as singles
