Purchasing Employee Wood & Parquet 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

In this versatile role, you will independently manage the operational purchasing of parquet, solid wood, and accessories both domestically and internationally. You ensure timely procurement regarding price, quantity, availability, and stock levels, and coordinate the transport as well as the inspection of deliveries and invoices. Additionally, you conduct price and contract negotiations with suppliers and work closely with sales, production, warehouse, and logistics departments to ensure timely order processing. Furthermore, you contribute to the production planning of the oil line for the finishing of parquet boards, maintain article and supplier master data in the ERP system, and are responsible for audit preparation as well as maintaining FSC and PEFC certifications. You take on personal responsibility, actively participate in purchasing processes, negotiate confidently with suppliers, and significantly contribute to purchasing success through your proactive approach.

What do I need to be successful?

For this demanding role, you have a commercial education or a basic training in the wood industry combined with strong commercial expertise. You bring experience in purchasing, ideally in the wood or parquet sector, and impress with your negotiation skills and entrepreneurial thinking. Your structured, precise, and independent working style distinguishes you, as does your proficient use of MS Office, ERP systems, and your IT affinity. Moreover, you work solution-oriented, gladly take on responsibility, appreciate varied tasks, and actively shape the purchasing function. Ideally, you combine your experience in the wood or parquet industry with strong commercial skills.
