The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 collaborators. The Rennaz Hospital Centre has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. To complete its team, the Accounting department located in Vevey is looking for a:
Certified Accountant M/F at 80%
The main duties of this position are
- Manage treasury: monitoring working capital, forecasts, loans and ATF, payments, monthly report for management and cantons, supervision of bank and cash accounting and reconciliation, accounting and monitoring of canton financing
- Process doctors' fees: record, make payments, coordinate with billing and HR departments, prepare statements, produce statistics and ensure follow-up of agreements
- Ensure payroll accounting: perform reconciliations of social charges, withholding taxes and various salary-related accounts, establish provisions and monitor related ancillary activities
- Actively participate in quarterly closings and annual account closure
- Control the allocation and completeness of certain PP and balance sheet accounts
- Collaborate on fiduciary audits and any service statistics
- Contribute to cross-functional projects improving and optimising existing processes
- Provide cover for accountants and support to auxiliary accounting staff
The team of accountants shares the various areas of the hospital's general accounting and the work can therefore evolve towards other duties over the years.
We require
- A federal diploma as a specialist in finance and accounting or an equivalent qualification
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Successful experience of 3 years in the accounting field
- An analytical mind, proactivity, flexibility and rigour
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good interpersonal skills, dynamic and optimistic approach
- Knowledge of Opale software or an ERP is a serious asset
