System Engineer Network & Infrastructure 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• You take care of the operation and further development of the network environment - including security hardening with FortiGate, Unifi and FS.com

• You implement VLAN segmentation, micro-segmentation and zero-trust architectures

• You manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Hyper-V-based servers

• You optimise network security: firewall rules, VPN, policies and IDS/IPS systems

• You take on 3rd-level support for complex infrastructure and security issues

• You contribute to future projects - PacketFence NAC, SD-WAN or network automation

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed training in the IT field

• Comprehensive knowledge in the area of network and security technologies

  VLAN, routing, switching (e.g. Unifi, FS.com, Cisco or similar systems)

  Firewall administration (FortiGate, NSE certification desirable)

• Solid practical experience with Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Microsoft 365 and Hyper-V

• Knowledge of modern IT security concepts (Zero Trust, Least Privilege, Defence in Depth)

• Structured, solution-oriented thinking and enthusiasm for innovative technologies
