Project Manager for Area Development - Owner Representation

• For the new urban district Viererfeld / Mittelfeld, you take overall responsibility for quality assurance and marketing of the construction sites, handling all land transactions, and managing the available budget
• You represent the owners' interests towards all stakeholders as well as in the overall project management team during the phases of strategic planning, project development, realization, and commissioning
• You coordinate all sub-projects Viererfeld/Mittelfeld within the jurisdiction of the Real Estate Department of the City of Bern (quality assurance, marketing, land transactions, use/operation)
• You support the overall project management with legal questions
• You draft applications and statements for commissions, municipal council, and city council

• University or university of applied sciences degree in real estate (architecture, real estate economics, civil engineering)
• Preferably a postgraduate diploma in real estate economics (CAS/Master)
• Professional experience in the planning, construction, or real estate industry
• Experience in area/project development and marketing of real estate, building law, contract law, and stakeholder management
• Strong negotiation skills, precise and structured working style
• Experience in leading project and specialist planning teams
• Fluency in oral and written expression, customer-oriented thinking and action, as well as interest in political processes
