Vice Principals (200%)
The Kantonsschule Stadelhofen is establishing a branch in Dübendorf on the premises of Empa on behalf of the Canton of Zurich. The branch will commence operations in the summer of 2026 in the thriving Glattal region. It is formally subordinate to the rector of the Kantonsschule Stadelhofen but will be operated as an independent school unit and will be granted autonomy in a few years. The educational offering will include a short gymnasium with an economic-legal, mathematical-scientific, and modern language profile, a lower gymnasium, and a commercial secondary school.
At the beginning of the autumn semester 2026 or by agreement, we are looking for two Vice Principals (each 100%). Together with the site manager and an adjunct, you will form the management team of the Dübendorf branch. The planning of the new school is already advanced, and the pedagogical concept has been established in its basic outlines. For more information, please refer to our website.

Your Tasks
- Participation in the pedagogical, administrative, and personnel management of the school
- (Further) development of the pedagogical school concept
- Establishing a positive school climate
- Ensuring high teaching quality
- Teaching commitment of ten lessons per week
Your Profile
You are an open and team-oriented personality who maintains a professional relationship with adolescents, parents, as well as teachers and staff. This is a dynamic project, so it is important to be able to adapt to changing situations. The formal requirement for the position is a teaching diploma for maturity schools and teaching experience at the secondary level II. If you have leadership experience in the educational field, that is an advantage.
