Payment certificate

I have lost the paid invoice. Can you issue me a payment certificate for my tax declaration?

We will send you a copy of the invoice by email. You will first need to inform us by email when you took the exam and for which training programme.

Changing school

I would like to change schools. How should I proceed?

Please first observe the General Conditions of your school and contact the programme manager. Here, you will find other schools.

Compensation for disadvantages

I have a disability. Can I request measures during exams that may reduce or eliminate disadvantages caused by my disability?

Yes, you can request such compensation for disadvantages. The procedure is described in detail in the memo entitled "Compensation for disadvantages during exams leading to kv edupool diplomas".

Consultation of exam results

Can I consult the corrected exam papers and how do I proceed?

The procedure for consulting your corrected papers is regulated and follows the notification of the exam result. Generally, only candidates who have not passed their exam are entitled to consult the papers.

Payment deadline

I missed the payment deadline. Can I still take the scheduled exam?

Late payment may be accepted up to a certain deadline. However, due to the additional work involved, an administrative fee of 100 (one hundred) francs will be charged. The condition for participation is that you pay the full amount within the new deadline given in the reminder.

Disadvantage (prejudice) due to any disability

Exam

Is the kv edupool exam federally recognised?

The Federal Vocational Training Act (LFPr), supervised by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI), governs federal certificates and diplomas. In other words, kv edupool training programmes are not listed in the LFPr. Nevertheless, kv edupool programmes are supported by various professional associations. Therefore, it is a consistent training offered throughout the country.

What are the advantages of the centralised kv edupool exam?

• Better positioning in the job market as this diploma is supported by professional associations.
• Reliable proof that holders of a kv edupool diploma are qualified regardless of the school where they trained.
• A diploma awarded by kv edupool grants access to higher vocational training without holding a CFC.

Can exams be written in pencil?

Please observe the exam regulations (notably the Exam Regulations, the list of permitted aids, and related provisions) for the relevant training programme.

Can I use a notepad during the exam?

Please consult the list of permitted aids applicable to the exam concerned.

Registration

What are the procedures to register for an exam?

Exam dates are set and published one year before the exam date on the kv edupool website. Registration opens five months before the exam date and lasts six weeks. Your training school will inform you in advance about the opening and closing of registration.

How do I register for exams?

Registration must be done within the indicated deadlines via the kv edupool website.

Can I still register after the registration deadline?

Yes, kv edupool may accept late registrations but only up to a certain time limit. In this case, due to non-automated processing, an administrative fee of 100 francs will be charged.

I registered but have not received confirmation by email.

Please first check if our confirmation went to your spam folder. If not found, register again. When logging in again, note that you are already in our database and must log in with the email address and password you previously entered.

I registered but still have not received an invoice.

The invoice for the exam fee is sent by email after registration. Contact us if you have not received it.

Exam location and time

When and where will the exams take place?

You will receive all details in writing along with the confirmation of exam participation.

I would very much like to be grouped with my classmates in the same exam room. Is this possible?

As far as possible, classes are grouped in the same exam location. Unfortunately, individual requests for grouping in a particular exam room cannot be accommodated.

Illness

I missed the exam date due to illness. When can I retake the exam?

You can attend the next official exam dates (see section "Exam dates / Registration"). However, you must register again to take the exam.

Permitted aids

Can aids not listed in the permitted aids list, for example the Code of Obligations on a browser, be used?

No other aids will be allowed during the exam.

Exam preparation

Can I consult previous exams or papers to prepare for my upcoming exam?

Previous exams or papers are exclusively available to Continuing Education Centres. Please contact your school about this.

Reissue of my diploma

I have lost my diploma. How can I get a new one?

You can contact kv edupool who will issue a new one. kv edupool will charge a fee of 50 francs for reissuing your diploma. Please send such a request by email to the exam officer, indicating the training programme and the date you successfully passed the exam.

Exam result

When is the exam result published?

Your exam result will be communicated in writing no later than five weeks after your exam date.

I will be on holiday two weeks after my exam. Can the result be communicated by phone or SMS?

For data protection reasons, your exam results will be communicated exclusively in writing.

Threshold values

Can threshold values applicable to social insurance schemes be used during the exam?

If these threshold values are necessary, they will be provided for your exam.
