Legal Expert for the Legal Service/Actuarial Department
Protection Authority for Minors and Adults of Graubünden | 60-80 % | Chur
The Protection Authority for Minors and Adults (APMA) supports people in difficulty. Those in need of help and support can rely on the APMA. Every day is different with us. Within the interdisciplinary team, we actively shape a secure future for adults, families, children and adolescents in need of protection.
For the APMA Graubünden, Northern Graubünden branch, we are looking for a legal expert from 1 July 2026 or by agreement.
Responsibilities
- Support and advice to members of the authority as well as to guardians in matters of substantive and procedural law (law relating to the protection of minors and adults, matrimonial and inheritance law, real estate transactions, insurance law, private international law)
- Independent processing of assigned procedures, including acts and transactions subject to consent (Art. 416 CC)
- Drafting decisions related to assigned procedures
- Actuarial activities for the authority
- Active collaboration in various project groups (e.g. defining practice, legislative revisions)
- Drafting minutes in case of hearings
What we expect from you
- University degree in law
- Professional experience, preferably at a law firm or court, and solid knowledge of private law
- Independent person, able to handle large workloads, flexible and capable of interdisciplinary thinking
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in German; knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage
- Careful, efficient and precise working method
- High service orientation and ability to work in a team within the interdisciplinary service
- Proven social skills and empathy towards people in difficult life situations
