As a Quality Inspector you will inspect engines, modules, and piece parts during and after the disassembly process, ensuring that all reused parts are serviceable and that unacceptable findings are corrected. You will ensure a flowless quality and act as the first interface between SR Technics engine maintenance services and the customer.
Your tasks
- Perform technical inspection and assessment of aircraft engine assemblies (PW4000) on schedule and according to the OEM’s specifications and Engineering order.
- Create repair orders for engines, modules and piece parts
- Check modifications carried out on individual parts and assemblies
- Apply Lean Six Sigma (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis)
- Environmentally conscious handling of operating materials (resources)
- Work independently and think and act economically
Your Profile
- Completed apprenticeship, preferably as a polymechanic EFZ or equivalent mechanical apprenticeship
- Ability to work independently, accurately and responsibly
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Good health, able to work under pressure
- Personal responsibility and self-motivation are a matter of course
- PC user skills MS Office. SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Good written and spoken German and English (level B1)
- Willingness to work in 2-shifts
