Our team dedicated to Cash Management activities for companies ensures the processing and proper execution of payment operations for companies and the various Business Lines of the Société Générale Group in Europe and Asia. It also guarantees the handling of investigations, disputes and associated claims. The activities are operated by an international network of 7 Back Offices located in Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Milan and Zurich, working on domestic and international flows.

In a transformation context, you will be attached to our Transformation and Performance team as a data analyst. You will participate in optimising processes and developing management tools with new technologies such as PowerBI, PowerQuery, Office360.

Your main mission will be to continue the work of inventory, rationalisation and automation of reports produced by the various teams. You will also contribute to several continuous improvement initiatives aimed at supporting organisational changes and departmental transformations.

At the heart of interactions between operational teams, managers and control functions, you will participate in implementing solutions to strengthen data quality, process efficiency and decision support.

Rationalisation and automation of reports

Take inventory of reports produced by Back Office teams (manual and automated).

Map producers, recipients, distribution frequencies and uses of each report.

Analyse the relevance of existing reports and identify duplicates, redundancies or obsolete reports.

Propose and implement simplification and rationalisation solutions.

Develop or improve automation tools via Excel, VBA, Power BI, QUERY, elasticsearch querying.

Participate in defining and implementing relevant performance indicators.

Continuous improvement and transformation

Contribute to projects optimising Back Office operational processes.

Participate in reflections on capacity and workforce management in an international transformation context.

Support managers in analysing production data and monitoring activity.

Contribute to improving management tools and dashboards.

Participate in projects related to service quality, operational efficiency and risk control.

Documentation and change management

Formalise procedures, operating methods and user guides associated with new tools.

Prepare presentation materials and feedback on analyses performed.

Support teams in adopting new implemented solutions.

Could it be you?

You will be preparing a Bac +4/5 in a Business School, Engineering School or University with a specialisation in IT, data analysis.

You have a good command of Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, automation via macros).

Knowledge of Power BI for designing automated and interactive reports is a plus.

You show sensitivity to data quality and reliability issues and have notions in project management (planning, progress monitoring, deliverable communication).

A first experience in data analysis or reporting is an advantage.

Rigor and attention to detail for data reliability, analytical mind and synthesis ability to simplify complex processes but also autonomy, proactivity and ability to propose are your key qualities.

You are recognised for your team spirit and your ability to collaborate with different stakeholders (Back and Middle Office, Finance Department, Compliance/Risks, management, IT).

Your written and oral communication skills to clearly present work and recommendations, especially in an international context, will be appreciated.
