Lecturer for Religions, Cultures and Ethics (RKE) 20 - 30% (suitable for career starters) 20 - 30%The Kantonsschule Zürcher Unterland operates a long and a short gymnasium with all six matriculation profiles offered in the canton of Zurich as well as an immersive class track (German/English). With almost 1200 students and about 170 teachers and 30 staff members in administration and operations, the Kantonsschule Zürcher Unterland is one of the large secondary schools in the canton of Zurich.
Your tasks
Starting from the 2026/27 school year, we are looking for two lecturers in the subject Religions, Cultures and Ethics (RKE) each for 20% - 30%. Additionally, one of the two persons has the option to participate in the supervision of the secondary school foyer (10 - 20%). This is supported by the churches of the canton of Zurich.
The position is initially limited to one year but can be extended thereafter.
Your profile
You have a completed degree in religious studies or theology and hold a teaching diploma for secondary schools or are in the process of obtaining one. For the work in the foyer, you need initiative and gladly take on responsibility. You conduct events and organize excursions and trips to strengthen the sense of community.
