We are looking for a

Prison Officer 100%

immediately or by arrangement with the workplace in Glarus.

Tasks

• Ensuring an orderly daily routine in the prison
• Compliance with and enforcement of safety and service regulations
• Care, occupation, and accompaniment of the admitted persons
• Recognition and management of critical situations in everyday prison life
• Communication with authorities (police, public prosecutor's office, courts, migration authority)
• Independent handling of administrative tasks (writing reports, billing and statistics, documentation of special events and preparation of leadership reports)
• Provision of weekend and on-call services (maximum travel time 30 minutes) without night shifts

Requirements

• Completed training as a "Specialist for Correctional Services" or willingness to complete the relevant training course, or professional training in the security or care sector with proven professional experience in the field
• High mental and physical resilience, assertiveness, and very good social skills
• Good command of German, foreign language skills are an advantage
• Proficient IT user skills (MS Office)
• Responsible and discreet personality with an impeccable reputation
• Structured and efficient working method, high flexibility
