As auditors and consultants at BDO, we help our clients manage their risks, among other things. Likewise, BDO must keep its own business risks under control to deliver high-quality services and comply with international quality requirements (ISQM 1). For this exciting role, we are looking for an experienced certified auditor to take on tasks in the internal function Audit & Assurance Quality Management (AAQM).
You work independently, plan your tasks carefully, and can identify best practices and improvement opportunities that can be strengthened and supported by AAQM. In doing so, you support our commitment to securing the quality of our services and the trust in us. You can perform these roles with a workload of 60-100% and enjoy high flexibility.
WHAT YOU WILL DRIVE
- You conduct monitoring activities such as internal inspections, diagnostics, health checks, etc., and answer questions about the audit methodology of the audit teams
- You analyze the needs of our auditors and develop best practice guides and sample documentation
- You assist in responding to questions from external inspectors
- You support our internal Audit & Assurance Quality Management and are responsible for the quality and execution of various control activities according to ISQM requirements
HOW YOU SUCCEED
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferably in economics) with a focus on finance, controlling, accounting, or similar
- You are a certified auditor
- You have several years of experience in auditing, ideally gained at one of the Big 4
- Ideally, you also have experience in the Department of Professional Practice
- You are familiar with audit tools and audit methodologies
- You are familiar with national and international auditing standards (such as ISA and SA-CH) as well as quality management standards (ISQM)
- You are able to explain complex audit methodology issues clearly and understandably
- You have confident oral and written communication skills in German and English
- Personally, you stand out through your commitment, good social skills, precise working style, project-based leadership responsibility, and strong project management skills
