As Digital Solution Rolling Stock (DSO ROS), we support robust, innovative and contemporary maintenance and management of rolling stock along the asset life cycle with our digital solutions. Our approximately 180 employees from three agile Release Trains (ART) with several teams manage around 30 SAP, 40 non-SAP and 10 analytics/diagnostic applications for 5,500 users.
The AMARO team primarily takes care of the ongoing IT operations as well as incident and problem management of all non-SAP applications. Furthermore, it is responsible for the professional development and implementation of requirements (change requests) on behalf of the clients. This is what you can achieve.
- With your expertise, you ensure the stable operation of our IT applications in daily business and are responsible for incident and problem management to maintain high service availability.
- You analyse incidents, locate errors, monitor incident management and represent the user perspective in close collaboration with IT, development and suppliers.
- As a link between software suppliers, development, business and IT, you coordinate collaboration and ensure clear communication.
- Together with internal and external parties, you coordinate changes, rollouts and incidents in operations and ensure smooth transitions.
- You implement change requests agilely, either in the nearshoring model or in independent small projects.
- In the self-organised team, you continuously improve processes and collaboration and actively contribute to proof of concept and minimum viable product.

- With strong communication and social skills, you address your audience appropriately and work cooperatively in the team.
- You bring practical experience as an Application Operation Manager as well as in leading projects or subprojects.
- You apply your solid IT knowledge and broad technical understanding effectively in everyday work.
- You are confident in server infrastructures, distributed systems and networks and keep an overview of interrelations.
- You have already worked with message brokers and have experience in scripting with Shell and Python.
- You hold a degree at FH or university level in computer science or business informatics or an equivalent further education and master German at C1 level in spoken and written form.
