KiEl Bethanien St. Gallen is a child-parent institution. We offer temporary protection.
We provide 15 families with children supervised or accompanied living arrangements. The focus is on observing and promoting the child's welfare, supporting in crisis situations, and stabilizing the family system. Our clientele includes women affected by violence as well as parents with mental illnesses, cognitive impairments, or other psychosocial difficulties.

What you can achieve:
- As the case-leading contact person, you advocate for the developmental processes of the families assigned to you
- You support and accompany our clientele in managing upcoming developmental tasks
- You ensure a supportive environment in both supervised and accompanied living
- You write reports as a basis for decision-making for the families' future development steps
- As the case-leading contact person, you work constructively with external professionals and the family's social network
What you bring with you:
- Training in social pedagogy or social work
- Professional experience in one or more of the following areas is desirable: child protection, counseling, psychiatry, migration
- Joy and experience in childcare and pedagogical work with parents
- Patience in dealing with people and high resilience
- Willingness to work shifts without night duty
- Computer skills and good German language skills in spoken and written form
- Minimum age 25 years
