Grid Project Engineer (80-100%) - 1391
Swissgrid plans, builds, and operates grid construction projects digitally. For this exciting and forward-looking work, we are looking for four BIM experts for infrastructure projects in energy technology to start as soon as possible at our headquarters in Aarau.
This is how you ensure electricity in Switzerland
In this exciting position, you will take responsibility for ensuring BIM technical quality and the approval of the corresponding deliverables (on the client side). Furthermore, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Development, definition, and enforcement of various standards, including Exchange Information Requirements and BIM Execution Plan
- Active support of substation and line construction projects and taking on operational tasks such as model integration and verification
- Support of the primary technology, line, construction, secondary technology, and telecommunications planning in establishing BIM workflows such as modeling guidelines, project templates, etc.
- Participation in the transformation project BIM@Swissgrid for the introduction and further development of BIM methodology at Swissgrid
- Project-specific as well as cross-project use case management (from planning to realization to management)
- Contributing to the establishment of the BIM competence center and the necessary training as well as evaluation and requirements management in the introduction of Common Data Environment (CDE)

For this position, we are looking for you as a team player with a reliable, structured, and quality-conscious working style and a high competence for the technical leadership of project employees. You bring the following:
Completed technical degree (engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable degree) as well as further training in the field of BIM
Several years of proven professional experience as a BIM manager or BIM coordinator in infrastructure or civil engineering
Strong conceptual skills in process design and data management of BIM specialist models as well as the central model
Knowledge of BIM-relevant ISO standards and norms, especially IFC
IT affinity and good user knowledge in various common BIM tools such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revit, Navisworks, Primtech, PLS CADD, GIS, etc.
Knowledge of energy technology is an advantage
German or French at native speaker level with very good knowledge of the other language
