Service Engineer 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Carrying out preventive maintenance and inspections on systems and machines at the customer’s site

• Service, repair and fault-finding assignments to ensure high system availability

• Support with installation, assembly and commissioning of new systems

• Production support after commissioning as well as technical customer support on site

• Training and instruction of operating and maintenance personnel at the customer’s site

• Conducting fault analyses and systematic troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical and control technology components

• Remote support and troubleshooting from our location in Hinwil as well as on-site support

• Preparation of service reports, maintenance protocols and technical analyses

• Close cooperation with the engineering, project management and spare parts management departments

• Active participation in the continuous improvement of service processes, products and technical solutions

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed basic training as a mechatronics technician, automation technician or in a comparable technical field

• Experience with PLC controls, ideally Beckhoff and/or Siemens (TIA Portal)

• Several years of professional experience in service, commissioning, assembly or maintenance of automated industrial or intralogistics systems

• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style

• Strong customer orientation and a professional appearance

• Willingness to travel, mainly within Switzerland, as well as occasional international assignments

• ERP and PLM knowledge is an advantage

• Very good German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form; additional languages are an advantage

• Driving licence category B
