As Chief Investment Officer (CIO) / Head of Investment Centre, you take on a key role in the strategic development of our investment business. With your leadership understanding, capital market expertise and clear vision, you consistently develop our investment competence and sustainably strengthen our position. In doing so, you lead our Investment Centre at the Zurich location with four teams and around 50 employees and shape the future of our investment business.

This is what you will achieve
- Shaping SGKB's investment philosophy and defining the strategic direction of our investment business.
- Responsibility for the bank's investment policy and its implementation in asset management mandates and investment funds. In this role, you lead the internal bank investment committee and determine the investment process.
- Strategic development of our investment business with the aim of sustainably strengthening and expanding SGKB's position as the investment bank of Eastern Switzerland.
- Responsibility for communicating our market assessments and investment positioning internally to sales units and externally to clients and the media. With well-founded assessments and a clear capital market opinion, you strengthen trust in SGKB as a competent partner in all investment matters.
- Leadership and inspiration of experienced executives as well as highly qualified investment experts. With your leadership approach, you promote excellence, innovation, cross-departmental collaboration and a culture of continuous development. This creates the framework for a high-performance investment organisation.
- You actively shape strategic development and are a key sparring partner for the executive management in all matters relating to capital markets, investment strategy and investment competence.
This is what you bring
- University degree in business administration, economics or finance as well as a recognised advanced qualification such as CFA, AZEK, MBA or a comparable qualification.
- Many years of leadership and management experience in a demanding investment function with responsibility for investment strategy, asset management or investment advisory in a bank, asset manager or institutional investment organisation.
- Sound expertise in developing and successfully implementing investment strategies as well as a deep understanding of global capital markets, macroeconomic contexts and all relevant asset classes.
- Many years of successful performance responsibility for large private and institutional asset management mandates.
- Entrepreneurially minded leader with strategic foresight, inspiring leadership style and a convincing track record in developing organisations, leaders and employees.
- Confident appearance and the ability to communicate complex capital market topics appropriately and convincingly to clients, media, internal stakeholders and other parties.
- Authentic personality with high credibility, strong customer orientation and the ambition to sustainably further develop SGKB's investment competence and actively shape the future of the investment bank of Eastern Switzerland.
