EPD has started productively

You have already read a lot about it; finally it is finished and available throughout Switzerland. Time for you to open an electronic patient record too! All information at https://de.abilis.ch/epd . We created our records in 5 minutes at the Passage Pharmacy in Frauenfeld.

This is what EPD looks like. App available in every app store!

For BINT this is a big deal. With over 10 years of hard work, our team – without our partners InterSystems, phellow seven and Ofac we would have had no chance – has created a complete, certified solution offering for the EPD platform, portals, integration of primary systems, IDP integration, onboarding automation and smartphone EPD app, which is now in productive use at the national core community Abilis and its ecosystem.

Now individual benefit steps follow at a steady pace

The EPD is on its way out of the trough of the hype curve (see the prophecy from 2018: www.bint.ch/epd-der-weg-aus-dem-tal-der-enttaeuschungen/ ). Some bubbles have burst, leaving the truly beneficial part. Next for us are the steps eVaccination (the better vaccination booklet in the EPD), eMedication (as a first step: the complete medication list of the patient editable by all involved) and expansion of apps and services to better companions.

Time to get on board

The pioneering phase is over; soon EPD will become "mainstream" or "commodity". If you are not already deeply involved, now is the right time to get on board without major risks but in good time.
