Project Manager Building Construction (70%)
In this demanding and varied key position, you will take on the client-side project management for new construction, conversion, as well as maintenance and upkeep projects of the municipality of Allschwil. You represent the interests of the client vis-à-vis users, planners, and contractors and bear responsibility for costs, deadlines, and quality. You will report directly to the Building Construction Group Management.
Your tasks
- Planning and realisation of building construction projects - from the project idea to commissioning
- Client-side project management and coordination in SIA phases 1 to 5
- Preparation of condition analyses, feasibility studies, and decision-making bases
- Independent technical and administrative management of projects
- Support in budgeting and investment planning
- Writing reports, applications, and working documents
- Leadership, coordination, and control of external planners, specialist planners, and contractors
- Representing the interests of the municipality as owner and capturing the needs of future users
- Ensuring costs, deadlines, and quality within the scope of project management
Your profile
You are an entrepreneurial-thinking, committed professional with enthusiasm for demanding construction tasks and a strong sense of responsibility. You have:
- A completed degree (ETH, FH or equivalent) in architecture, construction management or client representation, or training as a certified building construction site manager or technician in construction planning with a focus on architecture
- At least three years of professional experience as a client representative, in planning and realisation of building construction projects in SIA phases 1 to 6
- Sound knowledge of Swiss construction and planning law
- A confident judgement in urban planning and architectural issues
- A structured, independent, and precise working style
- High communication skills as well as persuasiveness and assertiveness
- Enjoyment in collaborating with internal and external project partners
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
