IT Monitoring & Performance Engineer (m/f/d)

Tasks

Develop and maintain monitoring systems: design, implementation and maintenance of tools to monitor system health and performance
Conduct performance analyses: identify and analyse bottlenecks and performance issues
Define thresholds and alarms: set limits for metrics and configure alerts when exceeded
Create reports and provide recommendations: generate performance reports and suggest optimisations
Perform load and performance tests: plan and execute tests to ensure system stability under high load

Completed degree (Computer Science, Business Informatics or similar) or comparable training with relevant professional experience
Solid knowledge of monitoring and automation tools (e.g. ELK Stack, CheckMK, Wireshark, UIPath), performance analysis and load testing tools (e.g. JMeter, Neoload)
Confident handling of scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash) for automation and data processing
Understanding of IT infrastructures, operating systems (Linux, Windows), networks, databases, SAP and cloud technologies as well as ITSM processes is an advantage
Flexible personality with willingness for on-call duty (7 x 24 hours) and occasional weekend assignments
