Your main tasks are
- Ensuring professional and holistic care and support of our residents during the day (all shifts; working hours: 07:00 to 22:00)
- Recognising individual needs of our residents as well as timely identification of emergency situations and acting accordingly
- Learning support for trainees at the FAGE, AGS levels and interns including performance assessment and participation in the recruitment of new trainees and interns
- Co-responsibility for ensuring the training mandate
- Participation in quality assurance and support in the further development of care quality
- Ensuring proficient and seamless management of electronic care documentation (portable tablets)
- Interdisciplinary collaboration, also with other professional groups
You have
- Completed training as FAGE EFZ or equivalent, Swiss-recognised qualification
- At least 2 years of professional experience in long-term care
- Completed vocational trainer course or willingness to complete it
- High degree of independence and flexibility
- Team spirit, strong communication skills and enjoyment in supporting young people on their path into working life
- Extensive professional, social and personal competence to train trainees and interns competently and with commitment
- Strong quality awareness as well as competent and friendly interaction with all stakeholders
- Good German language skills and good knowledge of MS Office 365
Alterszentrum Schiffländi Gränichen offers a home to around 100 residents across 3 residential buildings. One of the goals is to maintain and promote the autonomy of the residents for as long as possible.
