About the job
As a cantonal public law institution, the CNP is tasked with leading the health policy of the canton of Neuchâtel in the field of mental health, in collaboration with partner institutions. The CNP aims to rehabilitate patients suffering from mental disorders through the adoption of an integrated and community psychiatry model; it implements public policies for the promotion and prevention of mental health; it acts as a reference centre in the field of professional training and research in psychiatry.

The Nursing Directorate is looking to complete its paramedical team within the child and adolescent psychiatry hospital unit (H1) with a:
Psychomotor Therapist
Within the scope of your role you will be expected to:
- conduct psychomotor assessments from three perspectives: prevention, rehabilitation and therapy
- contribute to the overall care of children and adolescents admitted to hospital units for mental disorders
- implement body-based therapies using various techniques such as play, body expression, relaxation, etc.
- carry out your activities in coordination with other team members under medical and nursing responsibility
Your required skills are as follows:
- hold a HES psychomotricity diploma (or an equivalent recognised qualification)
- have several years of experience in a child and adolescent psychiatric care service
- be able to work within a multidisciplinary framework
- demonstrate rigour and the ability to analyse and synthesise
- possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to listen and communicate
- have a sense of responsibility, initiative and decision-making skills, and be autonomous
- be creative and enthusiastic
