The Emma Couvreu Childhood Foundation, since 1829, has been actively committed to the reception, protection, and support of minors at risk in their development. Our services are aimed at children as well as their parents. We implement our actions in accordance with values that we embody daily. Our activities are fully aligned with the minor protection policy established by the State of Vaud. Strong in its commitment, the Foundation manages 5 boarding schools and 6 outpatient units, mobilising more than 250 collaborators for this purpose.

The Day Socio-Educational Reception (ASEJ) welcomes children experiencing personal, family, school, or social difficulties. It is open Monday to Friday during school periods and welcomes children during the lunch break as well as in the afternoon between the end of school and 6pm.

The main mission of the ASEJ is to develop the necessary conditions for the child’s developmental resumption and to support parents in their parenting role in order to promote the child’s maintenance in their family context.

Job Description

• Supervise and animate groups of school-age children during lunch times and late afternoons
• Develop and lead socio-educational and prevention activities within the structure and outside
• Accompany and support parents in their educational mission, including at home or within the primary network
• Conduct individual, family, and professional network interviews

Your profile

• Holder of a HES or ES diploma as a social educator or deemed equivalent
• Extensive continuing education, particularly in working with families
• Experience in educational work with school-age children facing family difficulties and developmental obstacles
• Ability to work in a team, autonomous and flexible
• Driving licence essential

Duration: 01.08.2026 - 31.12.2026. Prospect of permanent contract engagement within the outpatient sector from 2027 linked to the deployment of new cantonal ASEJ lines.
