What you can look forward to.

At the Yverdon-les-Bains plant, a team of around 250 people carries out midlife renovations and overhauls of the vehicles in the "Passenger Transport Production" division – from dismantling through to rebuilding and commissioning. The "Yverdon Vehicles" area combines production and industrialisation projects. As unit head, you lead operational teams and can concretely improve quality, punctuality, and cost optimisation – while also contributing to the future development of the plants. The management of this unit is shared by two production managers who are jointly responsible for the area.

What you can achieve.

• You lead six team leaders and two project managers "Overhaul-Industrialisation" and bear overall responsibility for around 120 employees. You are responsible for implementing the safety culture and adhering to corporate values.
• As unit head, you ensure that changes and overhauls to the vehicles are correctly implemented with regard to quality, deadlines, and costs.
• You continuously develop your production lines towards Operational Excellence, for example with methods such as Kaizen or through the use of new technologies. Investment projects and their implementation on site are also part of your duties.
• As a member of the divisional and plant management, you actively contribute to further development, represent the unit in various committees, and maintain close, productive collaboration with other organisational units to strengthen our position as a reliable partner.

What you bring with you.

• For success in this role, you have a solution- and customer-oriented mindset as well as a strong quality awareness. Leadership skills and convincing communication are among your strengths.
• You bring several years of leadership experience in operational areas such as production or maintenance; experience in the rail vehicle sector is an advantage.
• You have a completed degree (FH/Uni/ETH) in a technical or business field and have an affinity for the other area.
• For this role, fluent French (at least level C1) and good German skills (at least level B1) are required so that you can communicate with your colleagues from the Olten and Yverdon-les-Bains plants.
