The Rheintal Career and Vocational Guidance is a modern, customer-oriented service centre in Altstätten. Our team consists of 10 employees who support young people and adults around career choice and career questions.

We are looking for a

Clerk with Role as Practical Trainer

Starting 1 August 2026 or by arrangement

Workload: 60%

Workplace: Altstätten

What to expect

Your area of responsibility includes diverse tasks:

• You are the first point of contact at the reception desk as well as for telephone and electronic enquiries.
• You arrange consultation appointments, perform general secretarial duties, and support the management and advisers in organisational matters.
• You actively contribute your area of responsibility to our team.
• You share responsibility for the training of our commercial apprentice, together with the Youth Development Department.

What distinguishes you

Are you a friendly, service-oriented, and reliable person who enjoys contact with different people and has good communication skills? Thanks to your flexibility and resilience, you master demanding situations. You already have professional experience in a similar role, work independently in your area, and additionally meet the following requirements:

• Commercial apprenticeship with Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) or comparable qualification
• Qualification as a practical trainer and experience in training apprentices
• Interest in career and educational issues
• Very good organisational skills and a systematic way of working
• Solid MS Office knowledge
