The Foyer du Servan, a specialised education establishment of the Fondation Bellet, is located in Lausanne. It accommodates 30 children and adolescents, aged 6 to 18, facing family, social and/or personal difficulties. Our educational team, made up of committed professionals and supported by a dedicated technical team, works daily to provide a safe, caring and structured environment for the young people entrusted to us.

We are currently looking for

Main responsibilities:

- Support our residents in their daily lives and personal development, building a strong, meaningful and secure relationship with them.

- Contribute to the activities, socialisation, and the educational, medical and school follow-up of the residents.

- Establish a relationship of trust and work closely with families to restore their skills and roles.

- Work within the educational team and a multidisciplinary network to ensure comprehensive, efficient and coherent support.

- Participate in the implementation, evaluation and development of personalised educational and family projects.

Required skills:

For both positions:

- Genuine commitment and endurance in building relationships with young people.

- Team spirit and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary network.

- Sensitivity to the social and family issues of children and adolescents.

- Respect for institutional values and its educational concept.

If you are applying as a social educator in training:

- You are currently in training or seeking to start training to become a social educator (ES or HES level).

- You are motivated to complete your student pathway while actively contributing with all the responsibilities of a social educator in the daily life of the home.

If you are applying as a qualified social educator:

- You hold a diploma as a social educator or an equivalent qualification.

- Certified experience in supporting children and adolescents with social, family and psychological difficulties is required. Training in systemic approach or experience in family counselling is an asset.

Working conditions:

Hours: Boarding hours, including weekends and evenings. These are set annually.

Salary: According to the Social CCT
