Your role

In this exciting newly created position as Head of Production Development, you shape the long-term production strategy of our company. You analyze processes, lead investment and modernization projects, evaluate new technologies, and define future-proof production structures. With entrepreneurial foresight, you optimize value chains and ensure that our company remains competitive in the dynamic Swiss market in the long term. You work closely with the Production & Logistics management.

Tasks awaiting you

• You translate the company goals regarding quality, costs, delivery times, sustainability, and growth into concrete production strategies, integrating exciting insights from the Swiss kitchen furniture market.
• You represent the strategic further development of production in the extended management team and actively contribute your expertise to decision-making processes there.
• You lead our engineering team with two employees both professionally and personally according to our cultural values: honest, respectful, and appreciative.
• Site development, capacity, and investments – you actively participate in the strategic planning of the management team on these topics.
• You develop medium- and long-term manufacturing strategies to make our value chain from goods receipt to shipping more efficient and implement these in collaboration with the Production & Logistics management.
• You create and are responsible for a multi-year investment plan and conduct profitability analyses.
• You initiate and lead larger investment projects, also taking a central role in their concrete implementation.
• You plan and implement plant strategies and ensure that all construction measures comply with strategic goals and legal regulations.

The background you bring

• You can demonstrate technical training at the HF / FH level (technician HF, engineer FH, or equivalent).
• You bring several years of experience in investment and modernization projects in industrial production.
• You have already gained several years of leadership experience in your professional career.
• You have strong methodological skills, especially in strategic production planning, process analysis, and optimization of value chains.
• Further training in Lean Management or Six Sigma is an advantage.
• You have solid knowledge in the field of highly automated wood, furniture, or comparable manufacturing systems.
• You can specifically apply your understanding of mechatronic systems, CNC technology, and robotics in your daily work.
