Your Tasks
Supporting people (10%): At the Landauerstrasse residential home, you and your team accompany 16 adult clients with cognitive impairments. These often affect thinking, learning, understanding or remembering and are frequently accompanied by autism spectrum disorders (ASD) as well as mental illnesses.
Leadership tasks (approx. 70%): You take on the personnel and organisational leadership of the team with up to 20 people. Together with the site management, you promote self-organisation, strengthen collaboration and support the further development of your team.
Shaping everyday life: You ensure that everyday life runs smoothly: you coordinate the duty roster, actively participate in annual planning, are responsible for the budget of your area in cooperation with the site management and organise the spatially integrated day structure. You also keep an eye on administrative tasks and ensure careful documentation in the digital client file.
Working together: In an interdisciplinary team, you plan educational and nursing measures, strengthen the resources of the clientele and pursue development goals. You accompany progress and are also a professional and operational support for colleagues.
Your Profile
Experience: You are experienced in dealing with people with disabilities, ideally also with challenging behaviour.
Personality: You approach clients with empathy and respect and understand how to motivate a team and lead it on an equal footing. In demanding care situations or emergencies, you remain calm, act confidently and convey security.
Education: You have a completed FH/HF degree in Social Work or Social Pedagogy or an equivalent qualification. In addition, you bring experience in team leadership and have already completed corresponding further training.
Language: You have a secure command of the German language and communicate clearly, empathetically and appropriately for the target group.
