As a rehabilitation clinic, we welcome patients for inpatient and outpatient care in a high-level care environment. To strengthen our therapy team, we are advertising a position as an occupational therapist. You accompany our patients in building, maintaining, or regaining their physical, cognitive, and psychological abilities with the aim of promoting their independence and reintegration into their personal and professional environment.

Your responsibilities

• Assess functional, motor, and cognitive abilities, daily living activities, and the environment
• Define and implement individualised rehabilitation goals and programmes focused on the person and activity
• Restore and maintain abilities, including fine motor skills, sensitivity, attention, and cognitive functions
• Advise on and adjust aids, orthoses, and ergonomic devices
• Propose adaptations to the home and workplace, and contribute to risk prevention
• Support autonomy, transitions, discharge preparation, and professional reintegration
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, ensure clinical documentation, and participate in quality and service projects

Your profile

• Degree in occupational therapy from a university of applied sciences or an equivalent qualification
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience, ideally in a clinical setting or rehabilitation centre
• Knowledge of the Swiss health system/insurance; clinical rigour, autonomy, observational skills, and team spirit
• French and/or German oral and written at least B2 level, with the other language at A2 level

Your tasks

• Assessment of functional, motor, and cognitive abilities as well as daily living activities and environment
• Definition and implementation of individual, person- and activity-oriented rehabilitation goals and programmes
• Restoration and maintenance of abilities, especially fine motor skills, sensitivity, attention, and cognitive functions
• Advice and adjustment of aids, orthoses, and ergonomic solutions
• Recommendation of adaptations in the living and working environment as well as participation in risk prevention
• Promotion of independence as well as support during transitions, discharge planning, and professional reintegration
• Collaboration in the interdisciplinary team, clinical documentation, and participation in quality measures and projects of the department

Your profile

• Diploma in occupational therapy from a university of applied sciences or an equivalent recognised qualification
• At least 2 years of professional experience, ideally in a clinical environment or rehabilitation clinic
• Knowledge of the Swiss health and insurance system; high clinical diligence, independence, observational skills, and teamwork ability
• French and/or German spoken and written at least level B2, with the other language at level A2
