About the job
The Zug Cantonal Hospital is dedicated to the health of the population of the canton of Zug and the surrounding regions. Around 1200 employees, including 180 in training and further education, work in various areas. Every year, we treat and care for over 11,500 inpatient and over 70,000 outpatient patients. More than 27,500 people are treated annually in the interdisciplinary emergency center.For our emergency center reception, we are looking for a Emergency Reception Staff starting July 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- Reception of patients and initial patient triage
- Patient administration and general administrative tasks
- Care of relatives and customer contact by phone
- Collaboration with the staff of the emergency center
Your profile
- Basic medical-nursing training (HF nursing specialist, health specialist, or medical practice assistant) and corresponding professional experience
- High professional, social, and communication skills
- Motivation to work in a demanding environment with rapidly changing situations
- Willingness to perform flexible work shifts (weekend, day/evening, and night shifts)
- Willingness to work at an 80% workload during the first three months as part of the onboarding
- Good knowledge of English
