The Government Controlling Department of the State Chancellery develops the legislative planning of the Government Council and, together with the Finance Administration, manages the annual preparation of the Consolidated Development and Financial Plan (KEF) as well as the Government Council's Annual Report. It is also responsible for the Public Corporate Governance of the Government Council, undertakes staff duties, and leads projects within its area of responsibility.
We are looking for a
Research Associate (fixed-term for 11 months, 50–60%)
Your tasks
You will support the department in preparing the legislative report and the legislative planning of the Government Council. Additionally, you will contribute to the strategy- and task-related parts of the Consolidated Development and Financial Plan (KEF) as well as other tasks and products of the Government Controlling Department. All work requires close collaboration with the general secretariats of the directorates, the Finance Administration, and other internal and external bodies.
Your profile
In addition to a university degree in political science or a related field, we expect a broad interest in and understanding of political contexts and their statistical representation, excellent editorial skills, and good analytical abilities. Initial professional experience is an advantage. You are sociable, a team player, resilient, and possess good communication skills as well as a service-oriented attitude both internally and externally.
