What you can achieve
- Engineering and co-development of the tactical communication solution in a security-relevant environment
- Taking on a Team Coach/Scrum Master role according to the SAFe framework
- Contributing to the creation of system architecture and concept documents (technical concepts, variant analyses)
- Close collaboration with software and hardware development teams (HW/SW) to further develop the products
- Setting up and operating demo setups as well as conducting feasibility studies, prototypes, and customer demonstrations
- Planning, creating, and contributing to user stories, acceptance criteria, and test execution
- Active participation in interdisciplinary projects
What you bring with you
- Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, telecommunications, or a comparable technical field
- Experience in system engineering and architecture, ideally in a security-relevant environment
- Experience in requirements engineering and technical documentation
- Solid Linux knowledge (operation and configuration)
- Experience dealing with customers in the federal or defence environment is an advantage
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented personality with a strong technical understanding and team spirit

About the department
We offer secure and interoperable communication solutions for the Swiss Army and national and international security agencies and are responsible for the integration, operation, and maintenance of security-relevant information, communication, and command systems.
This position is located in the project replacing the existing Integrated Military Telecommunications System (IMFS) of the Swiss Army.
