Job description

Amaris is currently looking for a PLM Consultant – Technical Data Migration & Classification (F/H/X) to strengthen its teams located in Geneva, Switzerland.

🔥 Your responsibilities

  • Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to manage the migration of technical data from Excel files to a PLM system

  • Participate in the structuring and technical classification of tooling (fixtures, dials, machining, welding, etc.)

  • Design and implement classification logics within the PLM tool (classification modules such as PartsLink or equivalent)

  • Lead needs identification workshops with various business units

  • Manage mass data migrations (batch launches via Excel files) including tooling data, plans, mock-ups, and technical documents

  • Conduct functional tests and coordinate validation phases with workshop teams

  • Ensure follow-up of business validations via ticketing tools (e.g., Jira)

  • Support users in change management and adoption of the new PLM environment

  • Work within a cross-functional project team dedicated to the evolution of the PLM environment

🎯 Your profile

  • You have at least 5 years of experience on PLM projects, technical data migration, or industrial tooling, in a demanding industrial environment.

  • You possess a strong industrial background, ideally acquired in watchmaking, precision mechanics, or manufacturing industry.

  • You have knowledge of a PLM tool and experience in management, structuring, classification, and migration of technical data.

  • You are able to quickly upskill and work effectively in a project context with tight deadlines.

  • You are comfortable communicating with various business stakeholders (design, methods, production) and know how to work in a team.

  • You demonstrate rigor, organization, good analytical skills, and effective communication, with a strong solution orientation.
