The Migration Office operates daily in the exciting political environment of all migration issues. We are responsible for foreigner permits, enforce the federal foreigner and asylum law, issue biometric Swiss passports and foreigner identity cards, and provide care and integration in our asylum centers.
The Migration Office is looking for an
Operations Manager Asylum Center (m/f/d)
for the center with an integration character Kreuzacker in Wil starting March 1 or by arrangement
Workload: 80-100%
Workplace: Wil
What to expect
- Together with your two team leaders, you share responsibility for the personnel, financial, and operational management of the center at the Wil location
- In strategic matters, you work closely with your direct supervisor, the center management of the Oberbüren and Wil locations
- You coordinate internal communication, lead team meetings, and promote exchange between the centers
- You prepare and control the budget and ensure compliance with all legal and internal requirements
- You are responsible for personnel planning, recruitment, and conducting employee interviews
- You ensure safety and crisis management, including training and emergency intervention
- You build and maintain networks with authorities, partner organizations, and the local community
What distinguishes you
- You have completed tertiary education (FH, university, or equivalent)
- You have several years of leadership experience, ideally in the social sector
- You possess excellent communication and networking skills
- You act confidently and socially competently even in challenging situations
- You are resilient and decisive
