Role
This position of application support specialist is open to reinforce the day-to-day support activities provided to different Business departments from the Bank, around specific applications. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive oversight of all IT activities related to mainly HR applications, from business analysis, project management and ticketing management.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyse business needs and transform HR processes into innovative technical solutions.
- Collaborate with dedicated Oracle Fusion teams to specify, monitor, and resolve requests.
- Lead HR projects from planning to delivery.
- Provide daily technical support to end users, ensuring rapid issue resolution.
- Design and optimise data models, SQL queries, and OTBI reports.
- Review Oracle Fusion release notes and anticipate system impacts.
- Adapt reports to quarterly updates and facilitate data exchange between Oracle Fusion and other tools (AuraQuantic, DWH).
Skills and experience
- University degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with the full software lifecycle and IT Service Management.
- Strong analytical, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, self-taught in advanced IT troubleshooting, demonstrating resourcefulness and the ability to acquire knowledge autonomously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, SQL, database modelling, Java or Python.
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud HR solutions is a plus.
- Fluent English (B1 or First Certificate); Italian is an advantage (role based in Lugano)
