About the job
Company Description
The Clinique de Genolier is part of the Swiss Medical Network, a nationwide network with around 25 hospitals and more than 70 health centres.
The Department of Nuclear Medicine at Clinique de Genolier is recognised as an SIWF training centre of category B for a maximum training duration of two years. It offers a position as an assistant physician or senior physician (acting).
Our centre is located in the Genolier Innovation Hub in the heart of the Genolier Campus, in close proximity to the departments of Radio-Oncology and Radiology. It is one of two European GE HealthCare Centres of Excellence for molecular imaging and theranostics, as well as a founding member of the international network of GE HealthCare Innovation Centres.
The centre actively collaborates with several Swiss and regional hospitals and institutions, including the University Hospitals of Geneva, the Lucerne Cantonal Hospital, the hospitals of Nyon and Morges, the Centre Hospitalier Alpes Léman, and the Centre Léon Bérard in Lyon.
We have an active research programme in the fields of advanced imaging, artificial intelligence, and clinical studies. We also supervise students from technical universities as well as experienced researchers.
In the coming months, the first commercially deployed OMNI Total-Body PET system with an axial coverage of 128 cm, the world’s first commercial upgrade of a StarGuide system to the GX Dual-Sided configuration, and a theranostics unit with radiation-protected patient rooms will be commissioned.
The centre offers the full range of diagnostic examinations for adult patients, particularly in the fields of oncology, PET cardiology, and neurology. In addition, we perform all conventional nuclear medicine examinations as well as comprehensive multimodal imaging protocols including diagnostic CT scans.
You will be part of a team of five senior physicians. Two of them have university affiliations: one at the University Hospitals of Geneva and another as head of the theranostics unit at the Centre Léon Bérard in Lyon.
Your training will also be supervised by specialists holding two federal specialist titles, particularly in nuclear medicine and radiology or in nuclear medicine and cardiology.
Job Description
We are looking for a physician aiming to obtain the federal specialist title as a specialist in nuclear medicine.

The position offers you:
- direct and gradual access to the full spectrum of diagnostic examinations;
- active participation in the therapy and theranostics programme;
- participation in internal and external multidisciplinary case discussions and tumour boards;
- integration into existing training networks;
- structured supervision according to the requirements of the SIWF training programme.
